| Bennett Creek and Hidden Springs Wind Farm Projects | |||||
| The Bennett Creek and Hidden Springs wind generation projects are located just north east of Mountain Home, Idaho and consist of 20 wind towers. We were contracted by Aubrey Silvey to install approx. two miles of over head 34.5 collection system, Approx. 2 miles of underground direct buried cable, and fiber optic installation and splicing. Dan Reid managed the project and was able to use his 20+ years in the industry to ensure the project was constructed efficiently and effectively. | |||||

| Prairie Land Electric | |||||
| In 2009 H & H installed a new 3-way gang operated switch and dead-end structure in an existing 115kV H-Frame line. The project constructed a new 10 mile 115kv tap to a small substation that serves the compressor. Construction was 795 ACSR, braced post suspension on single pole steel, Fort Worth Tower structures. The project was completed under budget and ahead of schedule in extremely challenging weather and terrain. | |||||

| Sunflower Electric | |||||||
| In 2010 H & H began working on part of a continuing project to upgrade existing 69kV line and substations to 115kV. This project removes 24 miles of 69kV line from Ulysses, Kansas to Johnson City, Kansas and replaces it with a new 115kV line. The new line is 795 ACSR constructed on single pole Fort Worth Tower self weathering structures. The project involves 4 different substations beginning at the Ulysses Plant Station, heading west to the Big Bow Substation, continuing through the Johnson City Substation and terminating at the Johnson Corner Substation. This project includes some T2 distribution under build for the local cooperative. We anticipate completion of this project on schedule in June. | |||||||

| Echo Wind Farm | |||
| In 2008 and 2009 H & H constructed 12 miles of 34.5 kv collection system on a 37 wind turbine project for John Deere Wind Energy. | |||
|
| Tuana Springs Wind Farm | |||
| In 2010 H & H installed 34.5 underground collection system on an 8 turbine project that interconnected with the previous Cassia Gulch complex that H & H constructed the underground and overhead collection system on in 2008. Both of these projects were completed for John Deere Wind Energy. | |||

| Goshen II Wind Farm | ||||||||
| In the summer of 2010 H & H Utility Contractors, Inc. constructed 6.5 miles of 161 kv transmission line for the interconnect of the Goshen II wind farm in Idaho Falls, Idaho. This project consisted of 83 GE wind turbines. H & H also constructed 36 miles of underground collection. The fiber installation and terminations were also self performed by H & H. The general contractor of this projectis Mortenson and the owner is BP Wind Energy/Ridgeline. H & H had over 24,000 man hours in this project and completed all tasks with no recordable injuries. | ||||||||

| Wolverine Creek Wind Farm |
| H & H is performing maintenance on the Wolverine Creek Wind Farm's underground collection system. This includes the installation of 3 new junction boxes and replacement of numerous faulted 600 amp terminations. This work is being done to minimize future unscheduled outages. H & H's proficiency and knowledge of wind farm construction qualifies us to be the preferred contractor for wind farm maintenance. |
| Horseshoe Bend Project 2010 - Idaho Power |
| H & H Utility Contractors, Inc. reconstructed 3.5 miles of 34.5 distribution line along Highway 55. The inaccessibility of this line between the highway and the Payette River created a challenge that H & H was easily able to overcome and complete. This line was an extension of a project H & H completed in the summer of 2008. |
| Horseshoe Bend Project 2008 - Idaho Power | |||||||
| H & H Utility Contractors, Inc. reconstructed 4 miles of 34.5 distribution line along Highway 55. The partial inaccessibility of this line required a helicopter service to set some of the poles. H & H worked closely with Salmon River Helicopters to insure the safety of all employees involved. This project was completed on time with no recordable accidents. | |||||||
